    Three Rivers Park District may grant qualifying individuals one scholarship per year to participate in public programs or a season pass. These funds are limited and scholarships are granted strictly on financial need. Upon approval, lessons or season passes could be subsidized a percentage of the program up to $100/student. This Scholarship does NOT cover the entirety of a program or season pass.

    Please submit the application and one of the following document(s) to qualify:
    Current “Free and Reduced Lunch Program Eligibility Letter” from your child’s school;

    - OR -

    opening letters for:

    • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
    • Emergency Medical Assistance (EMA)
    • Minnesota Care; General Assistance (GA)
    • Minnesota Family Investment Act (MFIP)
    • Medical Assistance (MA)
    • Minnesota Supplemental Aid (MSA)
    • Hennepin County Emergency Assistance Program (HCEAP)
    • Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA)
    • Work Benefit (WB)
    • Diversionary Work Program (DWP)
    • Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women Infants and Children (WIC)
    • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training
    • Program (SNAP E&T)

     

    If your application is approved, Hyland Hills staff will notify you within two (2) weeks of when the application has been received.

    Enrollment is not guaranteed and is subject to availability until balance has been paid in full. Applications must be received prior to the program registration deadline.

  • Group Scholarship for First Tracks Fund

    First Tracks Scholarship funds are available to help local youth learn and continue to ski and snowboard.  Please fill this scholarship application out after you have secured your group date at Hyland Hills. 

    Schools or agencies serving youth with financial need can apply for financial assistance for the Hyland Hills Ski Field Trip or Small Group Program when providing recreational and educational experiences for youth. To qualify for a First Tracks scholarship, schools and groups will be evaluated using the following criteria:

    • Economic need based on the student participation number in the free or reduced lunch program in the 2023-24 school year. Hyland Hills will verify the percentage of children participating in lunch programs by accessing data from the Minnesota Department of Education website: Education.State.MN.US
    • Schools or agencies that do not participate in the free or reduced lunch program must complete the application and submit a letter stating the financial need and the goal or mission of the group serving special economic or disabled populations.
    • Application must be received at least 21 days prior to the desired visit.
      Funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reduced fees are available on weekdays (excluding holidays).
